Term
(1) The carrying out of a project or programme. Involves not only the work itself, but all the practical supporting activities such as preparing terms of reference, fund-raising, setting up an organisational structure, communicating, and carrying out a project evaluation. (2) Implementation means compliance checking and compliance promotion. Implementation consists of the activities required to comply with legislation and may regard activities by inspectorates as well as companies.
