Convention on the Protection of the Black Sea against Pollution

Term
The Convention on the Protection of the Black Sea against Pollution (Bucharest Convention) was adopted in 1992 (in force in 1994). Its objectives are to undertake all necessary measures consistent with international law and in accordance with the provisions of this convention to prevent, reduce, and control pollution thereof in order to protect and preserve the marine environment of the Black Sea.
