 mics\, this event is for those  who do have stirrings of unease that w
 e are not looking after the Planet as well as we ought. It is also for
  others who share concerns but who have chosen different paths and str
 ategies. It is hoped that it will operate in tandem to find methods of
  measuring the economy better suited to green and progressive criteria
  than those in use since the end of the second world war. \nThis event
   will  offer a new insight\, based on the 'Deep Ecology' tenet that w
 e should model society on people who live in harmony with their surrou
 ndings\, and broaden this to more areas of   society.  It is assumed t
 hat economics will and should remain as part of the green and progress
 ive and ecological decision making process\, but that the  current dom
 inance of markets  must cease.
