The third annual Building Exchange will be held at the new Hilton Hotel in Valencia from the 18-20 June 2007, a three day international residential event bringing together the property and construction supply chain. It offers a unique opportunity to network with innovative specifiers who are at the leading edge of some of the world's largest construction projects. The major themes of BEX 2007 are "Sustainability, Collaboration and Innovation" and the event will bring together senior executives who collectively comprise the entire spectrum of stakeholders in the global construction industry from across the supply chain in both the public and private sectors. BEX is a totally unique event in that attendees not only take part in a cutting edge conference programme but also have a series of one to one meetings that allow new partnerships between buyers and suppliers. Delegates select who they wish to meet in advance of the event and can choose from a list which includes representatives from over 200 senior decision makers from both the buy and supply side of the property, build and design industry. BEX Awards 2007 The themes of the third annual BEX awards reflect the commitment of the industry to innovation, sustainability and collaboration. The awards are open to all companies and organisations within the design, build and property sectors that have made a significant contribution to the built environment. Trophies will be presented in nine categories which between them demonstrate the diversity of contributions to regeneration, infrastructure and construction schemes for the future. A final BEX Award will be given to the Best Overall Project as voted by the delegates attending the third annual BEX event
