Metadata

Methodology:: From the LCF database for the period 2000 - 2006, attributes of land cover flows 21, 22 and 31-38, which represent urban residential sprawl and sprawl of economic sites and infrastructures, were extracted. Values of these selected LCFs were summed up and joined on 1km cell grid LAEA5210_1K for Europe. Sum of land cover flows 21, 22 and 31-38 is visualised on the map as Artificial sprawl.
