Additional information

The assessment is based on emissions and the effect of allocation to the EU ETS, for the year 2008 and for the period 2008–2009, the planned use of flexible mechanisms as well as the expected effect of LULUCF activities.
A positive sign signifies a favourable contribution towards target achievement.
Countries not represented on this figure either did not submit a proxy inventory for 2009 and did not agree to use the EEA estimate, or submitted a proxy inventory but did not agree on its publication.
