This type of space observation offers unique information which greatly assists the understanding and management of climate change. The data can be used for climate modelling and prediction and in adaptation and mitigation activities. The event will also examine the impact of climate change on individuals and offer practical examples of current efforts to combat this change. The EEA’s Executive Director, Professor Jacqueline McGlade, will present the Agency’s view on the impact of climate change in Europe and at the global level.
