The 450 scenario is based on greenhouse-gas emission- reduction and other commitments associated with the Copenhagen accord; on other policies currently under discussion or announced but not yet implemented, and on the extension or strengthening of some policies already in force and included under current policies scenario. The current policies scenario include all policies in place and supported through enhanced measures as of mid-2010.
