Methodology:

The data are taken from external data bases (GDP in PPP GK 1990 $US, and labour hours from The Total Economy database, DMC from IFF database, WI database, and Eurostat, Total primary energy supply from the Energy Balances of the IEA database).

Units:

index1970=100 (for EU15 countries), and index1992=100 (for other countries)
