The table lists the nationality based road charges that are a charge on the possession of a vehicle or use of road applicable only to vehicles registered in the country. For heavy goods vehicles, for which only data is available, this charge is the most widely spread in Europe; although a number of countries in the EEA-32 do not apply the tax. Where no data is shown, this is as a result of missing data and/or no charge being applied.
