Additional information

Main pathways of introduction are shipping, corridors (i.e. marine and inland), aquaculture, aquarium trade and other. In many cases, it is impossible to identify the introduction pathway. Where more than one pathway of introduction can be attributed, the analysis has considered both modes of introduction. Thus the resulting percentage of introductions per pathway amounts to more than 100 %.
