Generation of municipal waste in kg/cap per year for Albania differ from the data reported to the international organisations. The reason is that the data on total amounts generated was provided by the Ministry of Public Work and Transport that also included figures on population. The population statistics was different that reported by the INSTAT. Therefore, data on total amounts have been taken from the Ministry of Public Work and Transport and data on population from the INSTAT, resulting in slightly different, but more accurate figures. Bosnia and Herzegovina introduced waste statistics in line with the EU requirements since 2008, therefore figures for this year represent the most accurate data for the country. Data for the period 2003-2007 should be taken with the caution, because they are based only on rough estimates. Serbia has introduced municipal waste statistics only since 2006.
Think twice before buying more toys for your children.
Many of them are used only very shortly and then thrown away. Go for high-quality, long-lasting toys that can be used by several generations of children. Selling old toys on a flea market can give your toys a second life and can be much fun for you and the kids.
