Negotiated procedures - closed/completed: In the case of low-value contracts as defined in Article 137 of the rules of application of the Financial Regulation applicable to the general budget of the European Union, the European Environment Agency (EEA) has a right to award a contract through a negotiated procedure with consultation of at least three candidates.

Youth video competition: share your vision of a sustainable future and win cash prizes: What is your vision for sustainable living in 20 years' time? Competition "Generation '92" offers the opportunity for young Europeans born in 1991, 1992 or 1993 to make a video showing their vision of a sustainable future. The winners will be invited to take part in an event on sustainable development in Copenhagen on 5 June. The best entries will also win a total of € 6,000 in cash prizes.

6th International Green Awards for creativity in sustainability: The international green awards set out to recognise innovation, creativity and effectiveness in sustainability, while being firmly established on the global business calendar.

Countries and Eionet: The EEA now has 32 member countries and seven cooperating countries. The European environment information and observation network (Eionet) is a partnership network of the EEA and the countries. The EEA is responsible for developing the network and coordinating its activities. To do so, the EEA works closely together with national focal points, typically national environment agencies or environment ministries. They are responsible for coordinating national networks involving many institutions (about 350 in all).
