The EEA Management Board meets as a rule three times per year, and can also be convened by the Chairperson on his/her own initiative or at the request of at least one third of the members.
The Management Board meetings are held in the EEA premises in Copenhagen.

EEA Management Board The Management Board is the decision making body of the European Environment Agency. The MB decisions include: adoption of the annual and multiannual work programmes, annual reports and other strategic documents, approval of the Agency’s budget, appointment of the Executive Director and the accounting officer, election of Board chair and vice-chairpersons and designation of members of the Scientific Committee.
