Europe's environment — An Assessment of Assessments: In support of the 2011 'Environment for Europe' Ministerial Conference in Astana, EEA has prepared Europe's environment — An Assessment of Assessments (EE-AoA). This report provides a comprehensive overview of available sources of environmental information across the region which directly relate to the themes in focus at the Conference, water and related ecosystems, and green economy.

Knowledge base for Forward-Looking Information and Services (FLIS): Knowledge base for Forward-looking information and services (FLIS) is a platform to support long-term decision-making. The aim of FLIS is to introduce forward-looking components and perspectives into existing environmental information systems and to expand the knowledge base and its use.

Environmental information network extends across Europe, Central Asia and Russian Federation: Government ministers and delegates from 53 countries agreed to extend the European network for sharing environmental information across the pan-European region. The commitment was made at the seventh Ministerial Environment for Europe summit in Astana, Kazakhstan, which concluded today.

Towards a Shared Environmental Information System (SEIS) in the European neighbourhood - the ENPI-SEIS project: Located in Publications
Shared environmental information system (SEIS): Reliable, accessible and timely data on the environment is a key factor in formulating good policies. A vast range of environmental data is being collected across Europe, generating valuable information for policy makers, citizens and business. To maximise the use of this information, the shared environmental information system (SEIS) aims to interconnect existing databases and make data easily accessible to all.
